Dr. Parashuram Krishnaji Gode, Curator of the Institute, 1921 to 1961. While performing is usual duties he wrote as many as 474 research articles on various aspects of Indian literary and cultural history. Dr. Gode also prepared descriptive catalogues of manuscripts and edited thousands of pages of journals like "The Poona Orientalist" and "New Indian Antiquary".
